LG Chemical, which opened doors for engineering plastics compound in Korea from 1983, produced PBT (Polybuthyleneterephthalate) from 1988 and POM (Polyoxymethylene) from 1990. LG Chemical compounding products include PBT, PC, PC/ABS, POM, Polyolefin and Thermoplastic elastomers.

Reliance’s polymer business is integrated with its cracker at Hazira as well as the refinery at Jamnagar, which ensures feedstock availability at all times.
